I"m looking for anyone familiar with this. My son also has knee problems and has seen the physical therapist, but no better. I'm not sure how this file attachement thing works, but if it doesn't you can email me and I'll send the photos. Becky

Lets try this. Sorry it took a bit, but I have been out straight with my daughter. Input would be helpful. No we haven't seen a dr for this. His only complain is the knees hurt most of the time for years.

Becky

Well, here was #2. I'll get the hang of it. I had to shrink them so small that you really can;t see them that well.Becky

It sounds like both your children could have lyme and co-infections. If you have'nt PMed Jamie already please do.

Good luck and keep us posted, Denise

So, to update. We saw the LLMD and he admitted he wasn't familiar with the rash, and the Igenex Lyme was negative, so we let it go a while to concentrate on my daughters illness. Then my other son came down ill. One thing led to another and I was at the LLMD with my other son and I mentioned the first son again, and the rash. He said that the more he has learned since our last visit, the more he thinks my oldest son does have bartonella and is willing to treat. So, before we start we are going to Igenex test for Bartonella. And we are going to test the other cranky son. Ugh, Becky

At least there is hope that they won't always be such pains in ass!!! lol

I've had that same exact stretch mark rash thing since I was around 11 or so. I also got them on my legs and arms...They still turn purple occasionally on my stomach and sides.....and then fade out after a week or so...but they are deep and wide and will never go away.

Yah, I'm hoping to solve his crankiness...LOL He is normally great, but lately has been so tired and just ornery. I have pictures of his marks from 1 year ago, and then this past year. His pcp is taking them down to NY to see Dr. H and show them to him. I think he might agree. I just have to get these test and hope they show something. If you really want to see the pics, email me.
