MDJunction to me

jayna01"My name is Jayna and I wanted to take this opportunity to say how much MDJunction has meant to me. I always felt so alone before I joined in April of 2012. I felt like there wasn't anyone that really cared about me and what I was going through. I felt like there was no one that would truly listen to me in what I was feeling. Nobody was there for me. That is before I found MDJ!

I have found and met such good people on these forums. I never ever knew there were such compassionate people before MDJ. It's also nice to know that I can come here anytime and get support for what I am feeling. I feel like I have met some wonderful life long friends. It is also an outlet for me to try and help other people that are hurting. It gives me a good feeling inside and gives me self confidence in helping other people.

I hope MDJ will be as good for you as it has been for me! Many Blessings and Much love.

Okay so now I know what Herxing really is! I started my abx 5 days ago and I am really feeling it! I am desperate to start some new anything. I ordered samenta and have it sitting in the box but i want to consult with my doc first. I take percs for pain but my moods are so up and down and now the pain is so intense I can feel it past the percs. i did see that noni works too but I am on so many meds that I am afraid to take any supplements even though they are probbly better.

Tomorrow i will start the whole diet thing again any suggestions on LYme Disease Diet Books? I hate to waste my money so let me know if anyone knows ANYTHING on Diet that is available to look at on a adaily basis and easy to follow!

Does Noni really work for pain. I couldn't even get off the couch today until I took 2 percs of 10 and still felt the pain! This really sucks!

Well I can definitly sympathize with the pain . It has been my biggest problem for years. I take oxycontin and vicodin for "breakthru" pain, but honestly I sometiems wonder if it's worth taking the stupid things! Of course I've been on pain meds for years so yeah, I started with just vicodin, and ultram and stuff like that but you build a tolerance, and it's like it doesn't even take the edge off anymore. I've been couching it the past couple days myself. Poor kids, they want so badly to do something on break, but I just can't.

You want to be sure you're detoxing well, drinking half your weight in ounces of water a day, I'd make some of it warm water with lemon. You can also do a drink, doesn't taste bad at all, just lemony, you take 1 cup cold water, 1 whole lemon, skin, seeds and all, cut up, and 1 tbs of olive oil, put it all in a blender, blend, strain and drink. This will help with the herxing.

Noni is supposed to be good for you, and supposed to help with pain. I've never noticed it to help with my pain, but it's not just "achey pain" its hideious.

There are a lot of great supplements out there to help build your immune system and detox etc.

you should be on a GOOD probiotic, one you get from a healthfood store or I get mine from www.iherb.com one that is refridgerated.

I know a lot of lymies are gluten intollerant, Christine can chime in on this as she knows more about it than I do. So a gluten free diet would be good.

Please do not take anything I say as medical advice. I am not a doctor.

Yes, the pain is well, a pain! I take Excedrin for headaches and Aleve. I also have Ultram and Fiorocet. When it's bad, the best I can hope for is for it to take the edge off. My Bio-Mat helps with the pain too. It's like a super big heating pad! Chris Pyne sells themn at www.healingartsgarden.com. Expensive but worth every penny! Feel better! Chrystle

Remember too with pain, that it is better to take something sooner rather than later.

Too often we wait too long to medicate and then the pain is practically untouchable.

Dharma has made a REALLY good point here...

That is why pain meds are supposed to be taken on a schedule - dont wait until the pain escalates to a certain level - you have to take it before it gets bad...

As far as the diet - I have found the easiest way to get info on a Gluten Free diet is to check out Celiac disease. There are plenty of sites that will give you recipes and such in order to go GF. And most things you should be able to get between the grocery store and a health food store...

Hang in there

Pain is the worst part of all this! I don't even have anything for pain, except for Lyrica...they gave me vicodin this past friday after my gallbladder surgery, but they made me so sick.

I just wish I could get something that will work. My doc says I will get some more when I get the IV...and I NEED to start treatment soon or I am going to go completely insane!

I hope you can start feeling better, that is my wish for each of you, myself included!

Take Care!
