Hi, all,

This morning I noticed that the front of my shins are numb.

Anyone else have this symptom?

Does anyone know what part of the brain might control that?

Thanks.

My LLMD has always asked me to look out for that symptom, saying it is a sign of bartonella.

I don't think it has as much to do with brain function, but is more a symptom of a particular infection.

Last night I had some shin pain and it started to feel a little numb which is a first for me. I do believe I have Bart because of some of the rashes I've had. The numbness, tingling, burning, etc. I believe comes from the spine and is called radiculopathy. Could be from Borrelia as Bart is more known for shin pain but I don't think anyone knows for sure.

I do have some symptoms of Bartonella as well. I did not fork out money for the test, though.

It may be local infection, too. I didn't think of that.

Thanks.

Aha! I have had some other symptoms of Bart but no test. That makes sense. Thank you!

My shins don't feel numb but the middle toes on my right foot do. I can barely even move my middle toes . Lyme doc didn't know why. I had Bell's palsy 23 years ago for a month .. I never even realized this until year.

The cold hands and feet is very common for me also as is pins and needles. Sometimes I wonder how lyme is affecting blood circulation or if its something else.
