Hello All. Well, since I gave the news to my family - I thought I would give it to my MDJ Family as well! My birthday was on Monday and turned out to be the most interesting day yet. I don't know why I chose to do this, but I took a pregnancy test that day. I didn't 'feel' pregnant but I've been feeling SO good for about 2 weeks. I haven't felt this great (no fatigue, etc) since well over 2 years ago. I figured that it would be like me to feel great and be pregnant. So, the test turned out positive immediately. Doug and I are having a baby! So, here I am happy as can be but scared too death about having a child with Lyme. Obviously, this is where I am looking to all of you with children for advice. I am not happy with my OB/GYN at the moment. I told him about the Lyme thing, he looked at me like I was nuts. Are you guys even surprised??? haha. So, I'll be finding a new doctor soon. I know there is one around here who is Lyme Literate. Well, Doug and I are getting married on September 6th at my ranch in New Mexico (where the little one was conceived) and we are due February 15th. I never wanted to get married and have kids until I met Doug. Now, if I can just be lucky on the Lyme thing.... |
