Hi everyone, I'm retaining fluid, I think. My face is getting fuller and my belly looks like I am 3-4 months pregnant. I am pretty thin, so it sticks out and is very noticeable...getting frustrating! Has anyone had this issue? Anything that can be done about it? I would think it's from the salt I'm taking, but then I just went off the salt for about a week, and that's when I really started to notice this more...I just look bigger. And because of all the meds/alternative treatments I'm taking orally every day, my appetite has decreased, so it's not normal weight I'm gaining. Here's what I'm on:

Omnicef

Doxy

Diflucan

MMS

Colonix (colon cleanse)

Salt

Apple Cider Vinegar

Thoughts?

Thank you!

Rebekah

Sounds like a lot of stuff... I would look into reactivity between meds and mms and colonix at a minimum.

I tend to get swollen ankles when I eat certain foods. Start a food log and see if you can figure out if you get worse after eating certain foods or food combinations. It got to the point where I could actually feel my ankles start to swell as I was eating certain foods.

I'm an Advocate

have you had a gyn exam lately?

i watched dr. oz other day and it was on ovarian cancer; BLOATING is one of the main symptoms since it's so hard to diagnose. i'm not trying to scare you; we women need to be aware of. hugs

salt does alot too; no medical experience.

I'm scheduled for my gyn appt in 2 weeks. I remember that...my mother had ovarian cancer, and she looked pregnant. However, mine goes down in the morning and slowly goes back up, so I think it's more of a bloating/retention issue due to meds possibly. However, I never miss my yearly appt, so I will ask her about it! I think I'm going to try to research interactions with the others as suggested as well.

Thanks!
