Hi Susan...

Lyme can cause mild to severe sexual dysfunction...so what you are asking, have I had that - no - but I have had issues with lack of sensitivity...hmmm trying to explain without lots of details...

What I would suggest is to get on an adrenal support product - our adrenals play a major role in several areas of our bodies...

Including healing and sexual function...when mine were shut down - it was as if I had had a hysterectomy...at least from what I have read from some women...complete aversion to sex - thought it was dirty nasty, revolted by the mere thoughts of it...made me one nasty person...

Was not fun part of this journey...

Adrenal support products can help promote more healthy adrenal function. Now I had to have my hormones jump started - which took me for a roller coaster ride...but eventually I leveled out a bit. I have a Minerva IUD - which gives low doses of estrogen...

But once I started the adrenal support - things finally got better on a hormonal level...

Will this help the numbness - I cant say for sure...but I do know that it has helped with sensitivity issues...

But it could be a start - and with a good treatment plan - if this is more of a nerve thing - it should also improve...

hope this can in some way help

Christine

THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY...I'LL LOOK INTO THE ADRENAL ISSUE, BUT I SUSPECT IT IS MORE OF A CNS ISSUE..SUSAN

Keep in mind that it does all tie together - everyone SHOULD be on some sort of adrenal support - as our adrenals manage things like cortisol - and other things...and are often heavily taxed with this disease...

supporting them will help with whatever treatment protocol you choose...

but I too would bank on CNS issue too...damn nerves!

Christine,

They changed the name to ADRENerize, and I love it. Im really feeling the difference. Im off ABX now for 2 months but was still having pain issues and fatigue. This has been a good week even though the weather has been nasty.
