That has reduced a lot of stress in my life. Thanks to all." (bunnyfly)

I know just about everyone here can relate to this joke...I almost feel like this sometimes!

Two elderly women, Mildred and Ethel were out driving in a very large car, and both could just

barely see over the dashboard. As they were cruising along, they came to an intersection. The stoplight was red, but they just went right on through it.

Ethel sitting in the passenger seat thought to herself, "I must be losing it, I could have sworn we just went through a red light."

After a few more minutes they came to another intersection, the light was red, and again they drove right through it!

This time, Ethel was almost sure that the light had been red, but was also concerned that she might be seeing things. She was getting nervous and decided to pay VERY close attention.

At the next intersection, sure enough, the light was most definitely red and they flew right through it. Ethel turned to Mildred and said, "Mildred! Did you know that you ran through three red lights in a row?

You could have killed us!"

Mildred turned to Ethel and said, "Oh No! Am I driving?"

Yes, I think that's funny, too. Ha,ha,ha,ha. Sounds like something that could happen to a lymie!

Yikes Jmulley6 be careful out there! I've had the numbness but not while driving. It's probably not a choice for you not to drive unless you have someone to drive you around, just be very careful!

That joke reminds me of my drive to and from work everyday, it's like "How did I get here, I don't remember anything about the drive here because my mind was in a million other places!"

Hi! Yes i too deal with the numbness in the legs and feet ans sometimes in the hands too. I have been diagnosed with neuropathy from the CMT, but i am sure that the Lyme contributes to it too. At times it feels like i have stockings on. Weird sensations all the time. It is hard to judge the pressure that you are putting on the pedals.

Please be safe out there!!!!

I get more numbness in my right hand......drives me crazy! But I do forget where I'm at all the time and where I'm going when I'm driving. Before I knew I had Lyme it really scared me, I thought I had early onset Alzheimers. I was afraid to tell anyone.

The other day, driving to my doctors, I at least knew that's where I was going....I was kinda lost.....I was only about a mile from my own house and I had to call them and ask them where they were again cause I didn't remember where the office was or how to get there again.

My kids think it's hysterical when I say weird stuff, like I'll mean to say Good Morning and I'll say night bread......or something along those lines, it's odd stuff that comes out of my mouth, nothing that makes any sense.

We just try to laugh at it and get by. My typo's drive me crazy more than anything!!! I try to go over everything several times but I know I miss stuff. My degree is in journalism and I pride myself on my editing skills....I just had to ask my son what that was called when you go through stuff and see if there are any mistakes..he laughed at me.

ok, I'm goin to bed on that note.

*hugs*

That joke sounds so like me! I've blacked out twice while driving. The first time I ran a red light, and the second time I shattered my passenger's side mirror. I am constantly mixing up words to. I will know what I want to say but search for the correct word. I have to admit I say things that are quite funny sometimes. I think a sense of humor is neccessary with this! I don't think I should be driving either!
