Hi Everyone! Does anybody know if it is possible to get a bulls eye rash from a tick bite and it not to be Lyme? I have read that Lone Star Tick bites can result in the EM rash which doesn't necessarily mean Lyme, but they can transmit STARI or Masters Disease.

Can anyone tell me if I have understood this correctly or share any thoughts of the subject?

Many thanks.

I'm an Advocate

I've actually not heard of either of those diseases. Lyme is mainly a clinical diagnosis, meaning it's treated based on symptoms, and if you are thinking you could have lyme your best bet is to see a lyme literate doctor. You can PM me and tell me your state and states you can travel to and I can get a list for you

also, check out the fact section I have a symptoms list of lyme and co infections there, print it out and mark the ones you have currently or have ever had, that will help when you see a lyme doc

warmest regards

jaime
