What about her diet? Complete avoidance of sugar including fruit and fruit juices. When in an acute stage of Candida, avoid alcoholic beverages, cheeses, dried fruites and peanuts. Eliminate items made from white flour. Use only raw apple cider vinegar, avoid other vinegars:avoid mayo, soy sauce or salad dressings; substitute fresh-squeezed lemon juice for vingegar. Also, digestive enzymes are an integral part of a successful yeast management program. Look for products that contain lysozyme,protease, cellulase, hemicellulase, amylase, invertase, lactase, lipase, glucoamylase. This was from an article I picked up at the health food store several months ago. My neice had chronic yeast infections, so I was interested in learning about Candida. The article was from essential Health Magazine. I'm sure you could find some info on the internet, too. I'm sorry your daughter is suffering with this. My middle child developed thrush in her throat after too many antibiotics. The doctor gave her diflucan (I think). She was only 6 at the time and I knew nothing about probiotics back then. I hope your daughter gets some relief soon. Please do not take anything I say as medical advice. I am not a doctor.
