I started getting burning pain in my stomach and around my kidneys so I thought maybe I might have a kidney infection but I have no fever. Now I have burning sensations on my skin on other parts of my body? Is this a lyme symptom? Neck pain, spine pain and back pain all with cracking. Intermittent blurry vision. Migrating joint pain, ear pain, eye pain, shooting pains throughout my body. Knuckles on hands occasionally turn blue. Internal vibrations, burning sensations, shock like sensations, nerve pain.
Was on abx for 6 weeks after having severe headaches, blurry vision, neck pain, tingling and numbing. Was getting better and almost fully recovered and then started getting worse 1 month after being off abx.

I would say yes that this could very easily be a symptom of the neurological part of lyme..but ya know the drill........if it's a new symptom and it's serious enough to ask us then you need to consider talking with your doctor...preferrably your neuro if you have one. I sure hope it stops burning....Take care of yourself! With Him we "live" no matter the circumstances. At His feet peace of mind can be found. Peace that passes all understanding is my quest now and forever.

Ya know,its not so much each individual symptom as much as the whole picture that it paints.In my beginning,ten years ago,after I had several dozens of tests to see what was barking up my tree, and after dozens of symptoms and trying so many things to correct those problems and finding nothing to palliate any of my pins and needles,bumps and grinds,hills and valleys,I just learned to accept each new symptom as part of the picture and just observed them coming and going,coming and going.It's the picture of Lyme.Every time an unusual new symptom appears I just sorta say to myself "oh yeah.You...again...still", and then just get on with my buissiness.Even my Dr does the dance.Two years ago when I showed him my alarmingly deep purple toes he just said lets just keep an eye on them-for a year and a quarter!They finally faded to normal as dozens of the other tokens did as well...just to be replaced by some more etchings!I wouldn't suggest how you should deal with your doodles except to say relax a little as the picture continually materializes.Try to stay calm knowing that this beast strokes its canvas independently.Take refuge in your higher Self and create your own masterpiece while the little Freak Lyme you know what creates ITS style.There are two of you. Unfortunately you are the pallate on which this critter mixes its shades.So it gets crowded and uncomfortable and its oils stink,and so it is difficult to concentrate-not impossible......Goin on aren't I? OH, something I live with everyday especially the outside of my lower right leg for some strange reason......always in the same place .....but other times my knees and other parts of my legs especially after standing more than 10-15 minutes. No it's not all in my head......I have Lyme Disease
I am not a Doctor and I've never even played one on TV, I am just a Lab rat with Lyme, experimenting on myself. |

Hi Ladio. I've had many dozens of symptoms over these years(including the kids and your others too) and almost all of them have dissapeared, only to be replced by others.I can only hope these latest symptoms will skidaddle too! I get twinges of burning that come and go and i'm hoping they GO forever after treatment...if it's very painful i would ask about it but otherwise i agree with waxby. |

Oh that awful burning, I remember it so well.. Lyrcia did help me with that, but had to stop the drug due to water gain. Also I would apply my COLD rice socks to my upper chest (that is where my burning was) and that did help a lot. I could not even put cloths on for two weeks due to it. When I get sick (which I'm getting at the moment) I get the mild burning back for some reason. After I started treatment it did go away. And yes THERE is hope, never think otherwise. I have to add that it isn't burning pain on the outside of my skin but rather feels like it is coming from the inside. I really hope this naturopath that I am going to see tomorrow can help me because no MD in Canada will help at all. Neck pain, spine pain and back pain all with cracking. Intermittent blurry vision. All of that is Lyme that smart bactiria are just traying to mimic other illness or symptoms so we I'll think is something else but God is good let's just eat healthty everyday I'm doing it and is helping alot I'm going to the sauna too which is making my body feel great .Good luck |
