I was wondering if anyone has a hypertension component to their lupus. I have been a flare for about a month and everyday I feel like I am getting worse. I get short or breath, hot flashes and rolling sweats which (I think is related to my blood pressure meds wearing off...) causing my blood pressure to spike up to 180-200/110, resting heart 140 and labored respirations. These "spells" last about 30min. I am taking labetalol and have an appt with my MD soon. I am wondering when the methotrexate will kick in. The doctor said almost a month. Any advice??? Thanks |
