I couldn't tolerate the Prednisone, I currently take Plaquenil and have had sun sensitivity, but nothing serious.(as long as I use strong sunscreen)I have nerve damage due to a folic acid and B12 deficiency because the Lupus stopped the absorption of both of those. I know take injections. Since they aren't absorbed thru digestion,they have to be put into my bloodstream. The nerve damage caused a TIA last October, but no permanent damage. Since taking the Plaquenil, I feel better overall. I am blessed. I have more good days than bad. |
