Hi,

I hope today is a better day for you. I've been having alot of numbness and tingling sensations in both feet. My rheumy increased the neurontin I'm on for this problem. I saw her this past Tuesday and still having problems. Can't wait until the medicine kicks in. I also use a heating pad on my feet sometimes, I just wrap it around and put the heat on high for about 10 minutes on each foot. Its seems to ease it somewhat. Maybe that would help you. If you have any questions just write me.

Eva

yes, I call it the cascade effect, it passes pretty quick for me but it was really scary the first time it happened. my doc says it sounds like the start of a 'faint'. that is something i have never done and hope never to do.

I used to take Neurontin for a suspect neuropathy. Last year, it was discovered via labs that my B6 level was too high. My B12 was fine. Once I stopped all B6 supplements, per my doc, the neuropathy went away.

I was pleasantly surprised. I have macrocytosis due to the immunosuppresant I take. This can cause anemia, hence the Foltx (B6, B12, Folic Acid supplement).

I still take a multivitamin per rheumy's request.
