I joined this group this morning and look forward to getting to know some of you. I've been living with Lupus for ten years now, diagnosed in 1997. After working full time at a stressful job for 9 years I was forced out and applied for disability. I was approved and have been at home now for 3 years. My main symptoms are extreme fatigue, muscle/joint pain, lupus headaches, hives, hair loss, anemia...overlap issues with IBS, acid reflux, depression. I take 11 medications each morning to try and control my lupus but haven't ever been in remission since I was diagnosed. I try to spread the word about this disease through myspace and educating family and friends. I just participated in our annual Walk for Lupus Now walk in chicago heading a team of 35 people  Anyway, enough about me...hope you all have a pain free weekend. hugs, Jayne |
