I was dx. with lupus four years ago. I have been going trhough so much with so many things wrong with me. My joints,heart, lungs and brain involved. My heart gets fluid around it caused from the inflamation that we get. I see a really good heart doctor. My pulse is up to 145. I'm being treated with high B/P meds to try to slow it down. So far only it has gone down just a little. I just seen the heart doctor once again last week. He has upped the meds again. He told me that he thinks its either the pain that I suffer with each day or the fluid around my heart to make the pulse so high. He said if the increase dosen't work he doesen't want to let this go on much longer he will have to go in surgely to find the problem and fix it. He said my heart is working soo hard to dump the blood out its not good for the heart. My advice to all who are dealing with this. Get a good doctor who will listen. It isn't something to play around with. Remember this is your heart your talking about!! Gen |
