MDJunction to me

"MDJunction to me is somewhere i feel safe i feel i can be myself and not be judged. I love the fact that i get to see that im not alone in what i am going through and i also get the chance to help others on their journey through guidance and communication.
I would truly be lost without MDJunction... to me its my savior, my personal place to go where i don’t feel so alone anymore in the world.

I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Heather. I have been having a lupus flare for about a month. Who know!?!?!?! As of this past Wed, I have started drug thepary. At 29, I woulodn't have guess that I would get sick. I am an ICU nurse. I am use to taking care of the sick but not being the one sick. I never thought I would be soooo upset when the doctor told me that I couldn't work-out for at least the next month. Thank you to everyone involved with this website. I have been reading and learning how to let my guard down.

Having all these people helps so much. Every person has a little different type of symptoms. And it seems like doctors have different approaches. Sharing things here helps a lot. I hope you an get back to work soon. It must be hard to go from helping to patient. Take care
