I saw my MD again to discuss my lab test. I am positive for Lupus, but the MD says my Lupus is inactive. What does that mean? Does anyone else have inactive Lupus? I don't have to take any meds right now, but MD plans to do blood work every 3 months to keep a check on it. How worried should I be?

Thanks

Magicat

Does he mean that your lupus is in remission? That would be so wonderful. I think that he just wants to make sure that all the labs come back one way or the other in remission or not. I have blood work done every month just to keep an eye on all the organs. I suppose thats what he is doing. I don't think its anything to be real concerned about. How are you feeling? Do you feel like your in remission? How often do you go into a flare?
