Has anyone had back/lung muscle pain? The past 3 days I have been having like a pulled muscle pain in my back. Dull cont. ache with intermitment sharp/stabbing pain around my middle and lower lung area on the right side. Basically it feels like I'm getting stabbed with a hot glass sword. Anyway....I called my doctor, got a chest x-ray that was clear and got moved from 15mg of Prednisone (that was getting tapered down) to 40mg prednisone. They want to get a chest CT scan today to rule out a PE (clot in the lung). I know that it's not a PE. I have absolutely no trouble breathing, etc....It just hurts. I am up to a muscle relax Q6hr and 2 Darvocet about every 4-6hrs and a Thermacare heat pad. It helps but it's still there. Well thanks for reading. ANY SUGGESTIONS??? |
