I was dXd and have tested positive for lupus, RA , Fibromyalgia and raynaulds disease. I have developed a "bullseye" rash which has spread ALL over.

My rhummy wouldn't see me and referred me to my primary who diagnosed lyme disease, pending blood test results.

My questions...has anyone else had both diseases? Is it possible that I have lyme disease instead or can lupus cause a widespread rash, resembling lyme disease? Any ideas?

You know I was told the same thing by a doc out here. After going through a couple of years with Lupus symptoms then getting the diagnosis. So I really don't know. I do know that lyme can cause simular syptoms as lupus and visa/versa.Its so hard! Lupus you have to meet the 11 signs criteria, just for them to diagnose, then lyme there can be over 100 symptoms, no one not even Lupies have all the same text book symptoms. Doctors are only as educated as the literature dictates. So tough call. Yes I have had a widespread rash that the docs called lupus.

Its so hard, I feel for you. And hope that all will be answered and treated with the best results. Sending you hope and support.
