Has your most recent lab work included Potassium level? Leg Cramps can be alleviated potassium-rich foods and/or supplements (don't take the latter without consulting your doctor). My neurologist prefers my Potassium level around 4.8, just a hair above normal due to the neuromuscular disease. My rheumatologist told me that refined sugar is very bad for the joint for lupus and arthritis patients. I notice when I cut out refined sugar and go easy on the natural sugars (i.e., fructose, sucrose...) I feel a better in some aspects; specifically, decreased joint pain. Lynne Lynne
