I have been really scarce this last month and a half..I have been so sick and knew my lupus was in a total flare. Went back to my rheumy doc two months ago and I really don't like this doc..he is very complacent..well did go back after almost not seeing him for a year, well he freaked..guess what he admitted I was really sick this time..guess it helps to look like crud when you go in..ha ha well I have been having problems with my glands swelling in my neck and elbows for about 5 months..then it spread and went into my groin..my gp tried antibiotics and nothing and he felt it was my lupus so made me go back to rheumy doc..ugh and since I looked bad he put me on Methotrexate and some steroids again..well in three weeks I felt a little better and glands went down considerably..well then he stressed me out and wanted a biopsy on glands..so sent me to surgeon who couldn't get to glands so said no to biopsy..so back to rhuemy and then he sent me back to GP..wow..what a mess. My gp is great and jumped on this quickly but insurance was being a problem so finally he got me an appt with Oncologist, he thinks I might have lymphoma..because of glands going down with methotrexate and steroids..also family history of luekmia and lymphoma..ugh/ thenhe said lupus is also a problem..I didn't know that. Help if any one has had this problem please give me some guidance..or just anyone I am starting to freak out a lot. I go see him 5/8/08 and it seems like a long time away. I had a full body scan yesterday and got sick from the contrast dye..real sick..ugh! Now what is my body doing!!! I am sorry this is so long..i tend to ramble when nervous Thanks Tam |
