MDJunction to me

"In the 3 months I have been with MDJunction I have developed a sense of calmness. I now friends who do not judge me because I have been a mental mess at times. It is such a good feeling to have friends I can tell my deepest thoughts and always get back to me with their support. I have never seen a therapist for long periods of time. Right or wrong, this is the best therapy possible for me. Thanks Roy for getting this up and running and making such a difference in my life. Sara" (saralaurie)

Your sweetie...I have three children..two by birth and one i adopted. Our adopted daughter was 12 when we adopted her and she just as much my baby as the ones I gave birth too..So always remember there is lots of love in your heart and anyway you have a child in your life they are blessing.

Take care

I also have one child and during my pregnancy I actually felt the best I have for a long time. It took a while to get pregnant, not sure if that was lupus related or not. I had a hard birth but not for lupus related causes. (Not all births go the way we want them to.) During my pregnancy I felt like I lived at the doctors, but, they were just making sure everything went well.My daughter is now 17 and doing great.

I really want to have baby as well. I'm almost 32 and I feel like my time is running out. The Doctors say to try and conceive when you are not in a flare for 12 consecutive months. I'm not sure if I am always in a flare or it's just the Lupus?? It's very confusing. I feel so tired all the time now, I fear that if I could get pregnant that I would be bed ridden and that my symptoms could get worse.

My daughter was pretty sick in September 2007 and was going from doctors to doctors to figure out what was wrong they told her that the symptoms were all in her head. I happen to believe that it was the beginning signs of lupus. In October again she was taken to the emergency room and they just happened to do a pregnancy test on her and to all of our surprise she was pregnant. While she was pregnant all of her symptoms (except for headaches) went away. She did do alot of resting and of course eating right. I would do just that and of course keep in close contact with your rheumy and OBGYN. I wish you all the best!
