MDJunction to me

djfilippone"Before I found this site I felt so alone.  Watching my daughter struggle with IH and being treated like she had two heads from doctors.    I have plenty of family and friends but there was nobody that really knew what she was going through.
I not only have support and love from others who will listen and share their
story, but I have made some forever friends.  Having this support site does make a difference to many.

Has anyone on this site ever been pregnant while taking medications that fall in the categories D and X with reference to its safety during pregnancy? There are categories A, B, C, D and X; D and X being classed as most unsafe drugs taken during pregnancy. Unfortunately for me, xanax and paxil falls into these categories.

I have already had one miscarriage and may be pregnant again but really don't want to lose another baby.

Does anyone have any useful advise or past experience with Xanax or Paxil during pregnancy? Wassat Wassat

I was Plaquneil and steriods were okay to take. I took them with my last child. He was 3 months early but that was due to the cord.

The anti anxiety, not so sure. The risk you take by getting off of them durning the pregnancy is that when you go back on them they may not work so you will have to go to something stronger. That was my friends experience but she suffers from bi-polar behavior and got pregnant.
