I am so sorry you are in so much pain!

My legs hurt badly sometimes too but the only thing I can do is take Motrin. OTC

However, I am not a doctor so be careful.

I know if you have a bleeding disorder you cannot take Motrin.

Leg pain is very difficult.

I am sure others will be on with better ideas.

Before you take the Motrin please talk to your doctor to make sure it is safe for you.

My legs hurt so bad last Thursday night that I cried all night.....I even resorted to the pain pills my surgeon gave me for the gallbladder surgery and that didn't work.....it felt like somebody was inside my bones with a hammer hammering away.....so I know what all of you are going through....just know my prayers are with each and every one of you.

Argh on all this pain. So sad that so many of us are suffering. It was my shoulder yesterday. We'll see how it goes today. I wish for all of us to feel some kind of relief on a long term basis. I hope that the medical community can finally find some medications that work without side effects. I feel like even on our meds our life is a crapshoot. And that bothers me greatly, especially when the pain flares up.

Hello everyone and thank u for ur prayers and well wishesWink pain kept me awake most of the nightSad along with those terrible night sweats and then chills? Crazy indeedWink since u all know I am rather new and I guess nieve I thought being on these meds and all these things were something of the past? But according to a long talk with my rheumy today looks like I'm having a flare;( if the pain doesn't ease and the other symptoms don't settle she wants me to go back on prednisone;( really hoping to avoid that? I just finally lost 12 of the 50 I gained in the last year. Looks like I have so much to learn yetSad and a lot of good and bad ahead of meSad but that's where u all come inSmile it's nice to know I'm not alone and have ur support!!!! Hugs to all of u!!!

So sorry you might have to go back on Prednisone. It seems I've been trying to taper since I started on it last year. I am so close to being OFF, and then this shoulder pain showed up yesterday, and continued today, and the random unpredictable pains are coming back around my body, and I worry that this is the beginning of a flare for me, and I try to tell myself not to worry because that will only make it worse. And I remember to be grateful for each and every good day. And that tomorrow could possibly just be better.

Question, would any of you downplay your symptoms to your doctor just to get off Prednisone?
