Hey, my family is going through a lot right now. There's some crazy gastrointestinal bug that flying through and two of my family members (mom and one brother) have been hospitalized. my dad had similar symptoms but not the degree of mom and brother. My mom has IBS, so I'm sure that didn't help, and my brother has Juvenile Diabetes, and his blood sugar dropped so low. He's actually still in the hospital, got a fever now that won't go away.

Then I have a cousin also with Juvenile Diabetes, who got Tranverse Myelitis, another auto-immune, last year, who has been bedridden, paralyzed from neck down for the past almost year now. His bed sores have gotten so bad that now he has infection in his bones.

While visiting him the day before he was transferred to a hospital for surgery, I saw his sister, who also has Juvenile Diabetes, and had a live kidney transplant from another cousin 18 years ago, who has been suffering with skin cancer since the transplant and getting treatments every 2 months. Turns out, she's going through an ugly divorce, losing her house and she just got laid off.

phew, now breathe. I am feeling so much for my family right now. I'm also feeling like I don't have a problem in the world. Please send good healing thoughts to my family. Thanks.

MK

MK- how devastating and I'm sorry to hear the multiple issues piling on. For what it's worth, my healing juju has been sent for all.

Take care,

Thank you so much. Everyone is out of the hospital (except the one cousin who will never be) and the virus has spread to another brother, his son and his mother-in-law, but no more hospitalizations. It's been crazy. I went to hang out with college buddies this weekend far away from the virus and had a fabulous time. Met a women who not diagnosed with Lupus but exhibiting the symptoms and she is dealing with it through a gluten free diet and diuretics and various herbal things I know nothing about. I told her about us and how awesome we are. Smile

Hello. Just got back from a trip to see my folks. My cousin was finalized transferred back to his assisted living and out of the hospital. I don't know how he does it. Not even the hospital staff know how he keeps such a positive attitude in the situation that he is in. When he arrived 'home' if you will, the nurses, the staff, and everybody just cheered and cheered. A new patient just looked at him and said, "What are you a KING or soemthing?" And if you ask me, he is.

I wish for his positivity, his strength, his faith, and his level of acceptance. There are days when even the little things (and everything is little compared to what he's going through) just get me down and I just wonder why I don't give up. And then I think of him, and if he's not, and then I'm not either.
