So I put my first patch on last Thursday night and WOW WHAT A DIFFERENCE!! Life has been almost normal since then.....i had a strange day yesterday after celebrating fathers day by the pool all day Sunday. I slept 12 hrs straight then took another 2 hr nap later in the day! No pain just super sleepy, so I was thinking that the increase in my body temp increased the release of meds and made me drowsy?!! No idea but i would prefer sleepy over pain any time!!

My son is home and trying really hard to drop some lbs so we will attempt yoga together this AM....should be pretty entertaining since hes a goober and i havent attempted exercise since Feb!

Im also going back to work next week...super nervous about that, but feeling well enough and its time for me to engage in the real world! Positive thoughts about it all!! So far so good Smile

Hugs,

Hey Lena!

So glad you are feeling better on the Butrans patch! I read that sleepiness is a possible side effect, which could explain the somnolence, along with the Lyrica and Plaq... Also, you had a pretty big day of fun in the sun, that may have egged on lupus/fibro symptoms, not to mention, wear you out! All things considered, you sound as if you are on the mend. Hooray! I'm tickled pink for you.

I hope yoga invigorated you and your "goober" boy. Hhmmm, I wonder where he got that? Wink You will do great back at work. Please take it easy and take care.

Later,

Lisa

OMG yoga was pretty entertaining, but I may not quite be ready for the "downward dog" just yet.....im going to be super sore in the AM but oh well, if I dont try then I will never know my limits. Im a little funky tonight but nothing serious, just lots of chaos that will hopefully calm down soon Smile. Thanks for the words of encouragement, im going back to work on Monday and a major part of me is ready and a tiny part is scared......how are you?!?
Hugs,

Thanks guys! I just wish there was a secret spy spot to put this darn thing where nobody could point/poke and say..."whats that!?!". Especially my less than appropriate extended family members.....dont you love them?!! Smile
