MDJunction to me

liamacker"The part of my recovery plan that I would say made up 80% is MDJ. I suffered a lot prior to finding MDJ, felt alone and had no one to talk to who really understood me. In the Bipolar Group I found like minded individuals who I could relate to and who offered support to me when I needed it. As I recovered, I could then offer support to them which gave me a good feeling about myself. I have met some great people here who I would class as good friends and know I would still be in the slump I was in without them. Now I am stable, I know that MDJ plays an important part in keeping me that way. Thank you MDJ for being there for us all and making us no longer feel alone." (liamacker)

When do you know that you are starting to flare? I have been feeling really good. Starting working out again. so i feel what i think is just being sore and getting used to getting moving again. I'm a little concerned that I was under pretty good control and my SED rate was down to 25. Now it is up to 50. I think I feel ok but 50 is were i started when i was sick and i couldn't move. I could be being a little number fixated but... I'm scared. Unsure I am down to 5mg of prednisone but my joints are starting to become aware. anyway...

When do you know you are starting to flare? What does it feel like? And we do you call you doctor?

So glad to hear that you've been working out again. That's good for you! You should mention this to your doctor/rheumy though. Maybe you should be limiting your exercise routine.

When you are having a flare, you will definitely know it. Each of our symptoms with flares are different. I would call the doctor though if you feel you're going through one. They may want to prescribe something to help you get through it.

If you're feeling nervous about what's happening, never hesitate to talk with your doctor. Even a simple call to the nurse can help ease the mind.
