MDJunction to me

cinderella"MDJunction to me is a life saver... when i first was diagnosed with Scheuermann's Disease i wrote a message to a page i found on google, hoping that they could help me.... you'd never know it but that weird feeling (you know that one where it feels like someone actually cares) came over me when i opened my email next day to find that someone on the other side of the world (at the American Medical Library)had read my message while i was sleeping, and there low and behold was the address to MDJunction.... well it is everything to me, i live it breathe it and love it!!!!! I have found many people who are struggling with similar issues banding together to help each other. It is the best place in the world, and i couldn't think of another place to go to meet so many lovely people....

thanks MDJunction

Hiya, this rather an embarassing one and perhaps for ladies only. Ive started to experience ulcer like soars that also bleed down below and other discomfort which interfers with my love life Dizzy . Does anyone else have this or know that its anything to do with the lupus. Perhaps you could message me if you dont want to go public.

I've never heard or read about this being another symptom of lupus. It may be a yeast infection or something more serious. Please see a gynocologist or your family doctor to take care of it.

This might help. I have never had "genital herpes" per say but have always had horrible bouts of herpes with my mouth, nose, eyes and even with the skin on my back. It's not caused by Lupus but is exacerbated by it. It is a particularly hard problem to treat with Lupus patients. I was put on Acyclovire for over a year. That helped to decrease the breakouts and when they did break out it was for a shorter time. I have been off that medicine for probably about a year. Starting with a new area, you guessed it, quite near the genitals. Anyway, I think the treatment helps even if it's just one more horse pill to swallow. Good luck.

That article makes sense to me. Do follow up with your Gynecologist. Hopefully you will find an answer and some relief.
