Lupus Support Group

Sorry you are in so much pain. I wonder how things are going now, has anything helped?

Hello. There are doctors who are called Pain Management doctors. I don't have one, but I think there are some group members who go to a Pain Management doc as part of their Lupus treatment. I know the Prednisone sucks. I feel like I've been trying to taper off of it since I was put on it a year ago. I've never succeeded. This is the lowest I've ever down. I alternate between 2mg and 1mg, and go back in June to see what's next. I'm hopeful, so rare I use that word now, that maybe, just maybe, I can be off it by the end of the year? We'll see.
