First day back to work after like a 2 week break. Didn't do anything at all strenuous but it was a very long day. The rash that has been on my neck for the past 13 months is now suddenly spreading to my chest and having lots of shortness of breath and my arms ache and feel like they way 100 lbs each and feel very week. What does this mean? is this normal? am I crazy? I hate not knowing what is going on with my body....

Well I have had arm heaviness and pain for the last ten or so years. It is at it's worse when the Lupus is active. My rhumie said the heaviness is due to the muscles being affected by Lupus and Fibro. I do get relief when I exercise three times a week and make sure to get at least nine to ten hours of sleep. Now it is difficult to get a good night's sleep/rest when pain is present and when pain is present the last thing I want to do is exercise BUT for me, that formula does relieve the arm heaviness and pain. I hope you find relief and peace.
