Oh that stinks! Well did your rheumy seel his practice? Sometimes when they leave they have another physician lined up to take care of their patients. I don't live in TX but I hope you find someone you can develop a good rapport with. Good luck on your trip. Don't forget your sunscreen.

Oh man, I can't imagine this happening. I'm feeling for you. Hopefully members who live in TX have some recommendations for you, or he has left you in good hands, I think docs usually do. Hang in there.

Hoping that your Dr. has lined up a replacement or that there is one in a neighboring city that he/she could recommend. I know you must hate the thought of starting over with a new Dr. though. Hang in there and hugs to you!

It would be terrible to have to find a new rheumy! So sorry you are going through this. Hopefully there will be some members from Texas chime in. I'm way far away on the West Coast. Make sure you use LOTS of sunscreen and wear a hat, sit in the shade!!

Best of Luck,

Amy

Thanks everyone! My doc said I could just follow him - 3 hours away. There are no others here at all. O well!

We just got back tonight from the beach. I wore a TON of sunscreen every moment. I did get some sun, but not too much. So far, so good! Thank you all for the responses! You guys are wonderful!
