I hate waiting for the tests to. I actually have My Chart. It is a new tool my specialists offer and you get the lab results as soon as they are available. I hope that Friday comes quickly for you. Good luck on your labs.

Waiting for test results is awful!! I try to do everything I can think of to distract myself. I try to avoid any speculation as to the outcome. Still, I end up on the internet looking up the tests and possible results, LOL :O I sure hope you get yours soon!!! April - that is so awesome!! I don't think we have advanced enough medicine here to have that! I'm so jealous!

Take Care,

Amy

I'm glad you got your results! I hope no change is a good thing? Stress is bad for us lupies so the less you worry about things, the better! Keep us posted and I hope you feel better.

Hakuro, this is a web tool that is offered by my physician specialty practices. It is pretty awesome because I have my results pretty quickly. I just started using it a month or so ago because I kept forgetting to get my set up info at my appts. So I thought it was unique to their practice but I am going to the Cleveland Clinic at the end of the month and they sent me info to get the My Chart set up with them. It doesn't have your progress notes there but it has all my meds listed, tests and test results. It gives me my vital signs for the past couple years and also has a section for appointments that are coming and even a section that allows me to send a message to my doctor. It is a pretty helpful system and I wish I had started using it sooner.

April,

"My Chart" is the name of the system? I love it. We have electronic medical records ... but we do not have it actually available to us as a patients. How awesome. I'll ask about it. Karen

Yeah, that is the name of the system and it is pretty awesome having the EMR available to you as a patient. I use it and can see my vital signs, labs, test results. It is a great system. So if you are able to have it at your office it would be helpful. I only realized my doctors had it by a poster on the wall in the exam room. So maybe you need to ask because it might not be displayed well.
