MDJunction to me

Joy75"MDJunction to me is a second home. I visit daily to support and get supported. Everyone is so great here. The people are what make this site so
perfect. When someone says I helped them, I feel so good about myself. When
I am down, I come here to talk with my lovely friends. This is a great site
and I’ve come to love it and my friends here. Thank you for making such a
wonderful place to call home!

Hey there, sorry you are going through this. Don't know anything about prednisone - I am sure someone else knowledgeable will jump in talk about that - but I do know toddlers. - haha. It can be tough. Take a deep breath and just do your best. Hugs

I can say that getting off of prednisone is never easy. You will feel bad while your body readjusts. But, if you can just go day by day, one day you will find you are feeling better. It is never fun.

Hi new here. I have been diagnosed with lupus for two years. Been taking medrol (similar to prednisone) for two years in various doses. I tried to ween from med under MD's suggestion and it sent me back in a tail spin. Argh. Was so looking forward to deleting one medication from my regime. So then I was told by MD that maybe the low dose is just what my body needs.

So even with increased dose having same symptoms and even worse joint pain. So I guess the moral of this post is just maybe your body needs it.
