I have a repeat Liver CT Scan this am and had to drink two of those bottles of ReadyCat Barium - Yuck!!!! (hurl lol) Could they make that stuff any worse?? I swear my right side is convulsing as that stuff is working it's way through.

Wish me luck. I do not have liver problems they are just re-checking some liver cysts they found in April for 'stability'. I can however at times feel my liver area swell. I know it must be referred pain but can feel it just the same. I know how it feels because I had mono twice, with elevated liver enzymes, when I was younger.

My Dr. just made the call. My CT was stable and showed no differences from 6 months ago. Yay! He said we don't need to schedule more unless I have more problems. What a huge weight off my shoulders. Now, if I could fix my daughter's problems with her college roommate and my Stepfather was out of ICU this day would be even better Smile

Glad to hear that everything turned out alright. I don't think there is anything that tastes worse than that barium. I had to take it a couple of years ago to check out why I have so much trouble swallowing sometimes. They found a hietal hernia in the esophagus but I'm sure that that in itself ins't the reason.

Anyway, I hope your stepfather is getting better.

I hope it turns out well. I will say a prayer. I did a CT of the abdomen and I didn't think I would be able to hold that junk down. It was like a fruity liquid chalk. I think they have a lot of room to improve on that one. Gross!
