Hello, If you have visited my profile then you probably know a little about me....if not, please view. I need help identifying the same rash my sister had on her most of her life beginning in her early years that was never given a name. Little did we know she would later die from lupus. My nephew, her son now has this same mysterious rash. I think it started to appear christmas of 2005. I have recorded its growth and would like anyone who can to help me identify and possible give a name to this mystery. Like my sister, this rash which never goes away can manifest itself larger and larger and change patterns/shapes. Its exterior consists of medium hardened bumps with a central flat surface. It almost looks like calcium bumps which he has on his ears but not the same. It has now started to ooze on these bumps. Can someone help me please, he already saw a dermatologist which did a biopsy of it that came back negative for cancer. Im sorry the pics. aren't that good, but you can see that it started the size of an early pea and 2 years later is now the size of a nickel at least. Also his body over compensates for injuries as seen in the photos of his knee being stitched up after a skateboard injury. All of his injuries small or large are consistent with my sisters scars as well. Since i can only attach one file, i am going to create a page just for london's pics. for you to view at http://www.freewebs.com/justthetip/lupusinlondon.htm

I recommend you get your nephew to a teaching/university hospital and get a real diagnosis. The research hospitals are run by specialist that know enough about thier areas to teach it. So, call the closest children's teaching hospital. I recommend AR Children's Hospital in Little Rock. It is world reknown.
With peace and Hope,

Beth
