Gheesh, I am sleeping straight through 12 hours every night. It's from the medication combo that the team of Dr.'s came up with while I was hospitalized but GAW.... A Bomb could go off in the hood and I wouldn't wake up Tongue I'm not even sure I would wake up if my own house alarm went off LOL! Yeah, I would, it's REALLY loud and piped outside too so my neighbors and the police would be banging on my door Wink Wink

My point is I am ready for some of this medication to be reduced BLAH Sad I don't even like to take Tylenol and all of a sudden I have an arsenal of meds Angry

Do any of you ever wish you could just have a day without a medication cocktail?.... ~ Julie

Lupus has taken much from me but as long as my heart still beats, it has not taken everything!

Julie, LOL, LOL. I actually do take a day off from meds once in a while. I know what you mean about the cocktails. It seems before you know it you need the pill organizer. It just hits you one day. Anyway, it is great that you get some great sleep. Enjoy it while it lasts. April

Julie, There are MANY days that I don't want to take all my pills! However, getting 12 hours of sleep a night is good for lupus Smile Lack of sleep really wears me out quickly. I hope you continue sleeping well and maybe get to lose a few meds at your next appointment.

Take Care,

Amy

I agree with Amy. When I don't get enough sleep, I just can't function well. While I hate all my pills, I always look at it has keeping everything the same. Any variation can cause a flare. Even remission comes with pills.

Julie, I totally know what you mean by wanting to get away from the amount of pills we have to take. It seemed like I went from taking a multivitamin everyday to a full barrage of vitamins and medications. I have my old-lady pillbox already, and I have to take the time to set it up for mornings and evenings. They are a pain! I, though, would be so excited if I could get 12 hours of sleep! I'm lucky nowadays if I manage 6. Laughing Trust me, the lack of sleep is not the end of this you want to be on, be thankful for the sleep! Laughing

I am thankful for the 12 hours, I just feel so guilty that my husband has to take our 7 year old to Y camp in the am and go into work late because I am so out of it! I used to do more before 9:00 am than most people did in a day ya know?... We will be moving my oldest into her Dorm at Eastern Carolina (Go Pirates!) in a week and a half and then my 2nd grader starts school on the 25th. I will HAVE to be able to function and get up early when school starts so I can get my youngest on the bus Wink

Erin, I REFUSE to pull out the pillbox LOL. I have one but darn it, don't want to use it.
