MDJunction to me

mabri"When I was diagnosed about 18 months ago with fibromyalgia, I didn't know where to turn. I got on my computer and looked for a support group where I could talk to other people with the same disease and get some help...Information, suggestions, mostly just what I can do now that I have this.....disorder/disease/syndrome...I didn't even know what to call it. I found MDJ, and yes, there was a support group for fibro. I started a post, and figured I would never get an answer. However, very quickly I was welcomed in, and became really involved in the group. I received help, support, friendship and the feeling of being truly cared about by these strangers who had become like family to me. Now, I have been here for about a year and a half...I have become a group leader, and love every minute of it. It is so wonderful to be able to help others. I still receive help and answers from the members in this group. The fibromyalgia is where I go to help, support, listen, care and even laugh. I don't know what I would do without this group." Hi everyone,

I just wanted to let you all know I am feeling much better today... I slept like 10 hours and woke up with a 98 degree temp so yay! It's creeping up again and I'm sequestering myself to my room so no one stresses me and I can stay in my "control" room where everything is quiet, the light is just right and the temperature is cool. It's a little cluttered in here but, I can work on that.

I am focusing on getting better and reading the Best Life Diet right now and it's a good book. One of my nice neighbors got it for me, she's lke a really cool grandma to me... You know, what you don't have, the universe seems to provide... Sometimes it finds you... That seems to be the way my life has worked. I am grateful for that.

Anyway, the weather is beautiful outside today, finally not humid and 78 degrees. I feel like when I was a kid and was home sick, I still get to read, watch tv and play video games, lol! Going to go have some chicken soup now too... somethings remain the same.

I hope everyone is well and having a great weekend!

Much love and hugs to this wonderful community,

~Romy
