I too thought my muscle spasms were cause by the Fibro. I'm not really sure though. It's a good question to ask your doctor. If it's really bothersome, it wouldn't hurt to just call his/her office and talk with the nurse about it. They might prescribe a muscle relaxant. Let us know in a couple of days how the spasms are doing. Mine vary in degrees of.... yeah, the throbbing and pain. When they changed my meds to Cymbalta (for the fibro), the twitching stopped. I haven't had them for quite a while now
