I had a hard scaly bump on the back left side of my head on my scalp about the size of a pencil eraser for about 2 years. I couldn't help picking at it. It would peel off pretty much and then grow right back again. I tried so many things but it didn't go away. I finally had it cut out by a doctor and biopsied. Nothing showed up on the test. Then this year I got ANOTHER one on the other side of the back of my head! Same place different side. I don't know what causes these but I have found that VICKS VAPORUB is making it soften up and it is just about gone now. I just put a little dab on it before I go to bed at night.
