Well, I can certainly empathisize with the boatload of illnesses. I, too, have a medicine cabinet stocked with Rx's. The CellCept, methotreate and prednisone...those three would surely seem to supress your immune system thereby making you susceptible to any virus or bacteria. That scarring in your lungs from the bouts of pneumonia are what my pulmo. referred to as granulomatosis...respiratory infections then activate those and they are then known as histoplasmosis. I believe I am recalling this correctly. Also, like you, I have vasculitis, history of optic neuritis, Raynouds, had lupus nephritis, osteoporsis in left hip (better than 2 yrs ago when I had it in both hips and back--now largely osteopenia), and macrocytosis, which is caused from the Imuran.
