MDJunction to me

fluffyluggage"I found MDJunction at a time when I was struggling with so much. I
was so sick. I found a home, a place where people understood me, when
even my family doubted me. In MDJ, I found a place of refuge, love,
and support. I come here daily, to find my balance, to cope, and to
find that same support I've found from day 1. MDJ is my new family.
The friends I've made here will remain with me for a lifetime.

Okay, so I've never had a job before-just graduated from high school, going to university in the spring.

I don't yet know for sure what my problem is, and knowing what I know about lupus, it could be years before I find out. All the same, I am struggling and being watched.

When being interviewed, and searching for jobs, how do I treat this subject?

What I mean is, if I know I have lupus, or could have lupus, (which will invariably affect my performance on the job, no matter what my job is) won't I have to tell them eventually? If I get hired and suddenly am not showing up for work or my performance declines, I won't last long.

If you alreay had the job at the time of the disease, they can't fire you for that, but if you say that during an interview, they can choose not to hire you, especially if you've never had a job before. And if any questions arise, they can just say I didn't meet their standards in some way.

Anyone have any advice?

Thanks.Smile
