so i read on someones profile that their sister had passed due to lupus. The catch is she was never diagnosed. can you be diagnosed with lupus after you've already passed away? who can riddle me that?

I know this sounds gross but I was watching a t.v. prgram called "Dr. G. Medical Examiner" and she was doing an autopsy on a woman of about 30 who passed away suddenly and doing this autopsy she discovered she had lupus vasculitis. So maybe thats how they determine after someone passes away. I hoped I solved your ridde.

I was watching a CSI type show and one of the victims passed from lupus-related complications. But no one knew she had lupus until after she passed. So maybe it shows up in the tox-screen or something afterwards? Or they can tell from the development of the organs?

I know that probably doesn't help, considering its was an episode of a show and not real life, but its what I was thinking.
