I'm an Advocate

It sounds like circulation and when you stand up the blood flows normal again returning everything to its normal color. Dont go by me I am no dr thats just my guess. As for the slow healing I have heard that is related to Lupus as it is to Fibro as well but once again could be something you may want to ask your Rheumy about. Good Luck sweetie. Hi Kris. I agree with Stacey about the circulation problem. You take immunosuppressants e.g prednisone so wounds take longer to heal.

Prednisone makes healing difficult.

it could be fungus too...i've recently just started getting all kinds of random problems i've never had before - i think because my ability to fight stuff off is lessened. i got athlete's foot - ITCHY and fungus under two dif nails that progressed very quickly and broke the nails in half - OUCHIE. if you start seeing white spots or changes in the nail itself tell your doc.
