It's the middle of the week and I just wanted to see how everyone's doing. Are we all hanging in there?

I feel like I'm stuck in the beginning of a flare....it's kind of confusing. Just been trying to stay cool and busy. Lots of naps lately too. Hope you are doing well!

Flares are horrible! Try and take care of yourself.

I've been in a flare for a little over 3 weeks now. The weather, stress, just life in general are playing the role of this one.

Stay cool!

Amy

Well Amy its been one bleep...bleep of a week. My daughter gave birth early Friday morning around 2 a.m. and the baby was stillborn. We are so devestated beyond belief. I was supposed to go down to the city to see the neurosurgeon that the neurologist set up but was in so shape to drive so had to cancel my appointment. My daughter and her husband came down late Friday evening and just left to go back home this morning. The neurologist made another appointment for me to see the neurosurgeon this morning. I saw him in the city and he said that the spot he sees in my brain will not cause me to die or become paralyized like the neurologist thought. He said that the spot he sees is a low signal in my brain that he believes is from the lupus. He did say that I did have a brain bleed but this was not bleeding at this time and in 6 months I should have another MRA done. So the neurologist was panicing me for not. My daughter and her husband as well as our family and friends are still trying to grasp this situation and their is an investigation as to why my grandson was still born there was neglegence on the hospitals part and the doctors. So the end of last week and the beginning of this week was horrendous. At least I had good news from the neurosurgeon.

So I will stay in touch.

Eva
