I think this is a good website to start from:

http://www.lupus.org/newsite/index.html

I'm sure you will get lots of good suggestions from other members on here too. It is great to educate yourself about he disease, that way you can ask better questions of your doctor.

Take Care,

Amy

jackie13, i just wanted to add that when i was diagnosed i went to the local library and checked out all the books that i could find on lupus, i then weeded through them to find which gave me the most info in the clearest possible terms, i then ordered, from amazon.com, the ones that i felt were most helpful. that way i didn't waste money on books that were not helpful to me. finding this site has also answered a lot of questions for me! wendy

I'm an Advocate

I went to the library when I was first diagnosed than I went to our local bookstore and bought some books but the best one is the one Alison mentioned.....The Lupus Book by Daniel J. Wallace, MD....that is the one I always refer to and its easy to read and understand. I sure hope you have luck finding some material regarding Lupus.....I read everything I could get my hands on I figured since this was happening to my body I wanted to know as much as I could.....wishing you well,

Eva
