hi. i'm new here. i just finished posting on the CDJ board. my mom has stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer, and my MIL has this CDJ disease. 2 moms, 2 terminal illnesses...3 stressed out families! anyhoo...i think i need support from people who have been thru this. some times i feel like i'm sooo alone. my friend lost her mom to lung cancer a couple months ago, and she's been great...but some times things come up that i'm afraid to tell her. my mom is going for chemo #4 thursday. she hasn't lost her hair yet, which is awesome, and she says she feels great, due to this wonder pill called Emend. the first treatment was horrible! ironically, the anti-nausea meds made her sooo sick! they had to hospitalize her overnight to give her fluids. thanks for reading...HUGS! |
