Help me please!

my dad died of liver cancer, and like your dad his tumor was just too big. the doctors said there was nothing that could be done for him because of the size of his tumor. i just wanted to let you know to continue encouraging your dad. i also believe in imagery. you and your dad get together in a quiet place and talk about the tumor getting attacked by your dads healthy cells.

my only wish now is getting a chance to hug and kiss my dad. smile and like you say take one day at a time and enjoy every minute of them. then you will realize that each day is a new link to many days . . . months and hopefully years. keep strong and smile at all the things you do have, life is tough but if you can find the good.

My name is Iris. I am sorry to hear your dad is going thru this. I was diagnosed with a 9 cm tumor on L lobe in Jan 07. I was stage 1 and had a resection done. I am doing well now and all test thus far have been great. I would recommend to you to get a second opinion at a specialty center specializing in liver cancer and disease. Find out all you can about the stage of your dad's illness as well as other possible alternative treatment. With a second opinion and extra knowledge you will be better armed. Take care

They conducted a repeat of all the blood works. And found out that it is a bile duct cancer with a tumor in the Right lobe. We are waiting for the PET scan to come tommorow to give us amore concrete diagnosis.
