Hi...I am 20 years old and have had multiple lipomas for about five years now. It started off with just two...one on each shin. Now i have about five that are clustered on my left shin and three that are not clustered on my right shin...I know it's not a big deal now, but I was wondering if anyone has known someone young to have multiple lipomas that develop many more as they get older. If so, is there a good treatment to use if many more do develop? Thanks.

Hi cc20. Yes, I am currently 34 and have had lipomas ever since I was about 21. Now, I have so many I stopped counting because they are multiplying rapidly. I am going to a dermatologist this month to find out what they can do for me. I will be sure to get back to you with the results of the appointment. I know exactly how you feel.

By the way, do any of your lipomas hurt?
