Hi,

I am a reasonably healthy certainly active 65 yr old wife mother and brand new Nana! (he weighed 11 lbs.!

I have been diagnosed with lichen planus about six months ago. So far there are sores in my mouth, not unbearable, but no fun either, sores on my legs, quite ugly and sometimes unbelievably itchy and last but certainly not least, my fingernails are affected. One has completely fallen off and left a bare nail bed. Hit it against something and it really hurts. Two more seem to be headed for the same fate. Anyone else have this triple play? The worst is the nails. I have read it will last two years or so. Anyone know about that? My doctor doesn't give me a lot of info. He has given me "Gris Peg". It causes (excuse me) diarrhea. The only thing he has to give me he says. I also put an ointment with a bandaid on my affected nails each day Several times. It is called Halobetasol Propionate. Enough for now. Best to all
