i've got leukemia and one of the worst things are the muscle spasms. i've had pretty much all the symptoms so this is really saying something! they got so bad i had to go to the emergence room once. before then, heat was the only thing that helped. i was in so much pain that i'm not sure if it really DID help, but it sorta masked the pain. we had heating pads, blankets and hot water bottles before the ER.

at the ER, they tried IV morphine twice but it had no effect. they tried everything the doctors had and were about to admit me for pain control when my mother goes "just get her a motren and an antihistomine!". the motren was inserted via IV, as well as the aintohistomine. withing half an hour i nearly felt like walking again. what a relief!!! so, for all your muscle spasms, try heat, motren, and some atihistomines. they're all over the counter so theres no prescription hassle.

if, for some strange reason, this does NOT work, we got a prescription for a "TwinStem" mashine. It cost about $90, and really has been worth $300,000. in times when pills were not available, this little gadget has kept pain at bay to the paint where i could get up and walk around. as a tip, i found that EPS (i think thats what its called lol) on the S for about 30 mins did the trick.
